Our solution
For this packaging line, the objective was to pack agricultural foil rolls while protecting the roll edges from tearing during unrolling.Our system applies foam strips to the packaging sleeves and folds them precisely over the roll edges. This results in tightly wrapped rolls with fully protected edges, without any manual intervention.
The line integrates all key operations into one continuous, automated process: handling, cutting foam strips from rolls, applying and gluing the foam to the packaging film, shrinking the flat sides of the packed roll, and labelling with identification data.
