For a continuous production flow

Our infeed and outfeed solutions for needle felt production ensure a consistent and uninterrupted fabric flow. For the infeed, we offer various types of unwinding units, enabling controlled integration of one or multiple fabrics into your process.

At the outfeed of a line, we generally build accumulators that buffer the fabric during roll changes. Following longitudinal cutting, the fabric is wound and cut to length, either semi- or fully automatically. Matthys outfeed lines provide precise web tension control and consistent roll compression throughout the winding process. Finished products can be wound or stacked, with optional weighing, packing and discharge.
