Streamlining your end-of-line process
From roll handling and weighing to packaging and labelling, every step is designed to minimise manual intervention and maximise productivity. Between the production line and the automatic winder, a temporary buffer is created using one or more accumulators. These are equipped with electronically controlled tension regulation, managed through product-specific recipes to ensure consistent material handling.
Before - or within - the winder, the web is slit into individual lanes using crush or shear knives, depending on the application. Cores are automatically supplied to the winder via multiple core magazines, allowing fast adaptation to different core lengths. For special slit patterns or shorter production runs, a compact core magazine can be used, located at the front of the winder.
Our robust and highly reliable winder produces tightly wound rolls, helping to reduce logistics costs. After winding, rolls can be packaged using various systems, fully tailored to your requirements. Once sealed and labelled, the finished rolls are automatically discharged. Optional bundling allows multiple rolls to be handled as a single unit, simplifying further handling and transport.
Advantages
- Fully custom-built solution, tailored to your available space and budget
- Automatic roll change for safer, faster and more cost-efficient operation
- Reduced transport and storage costs through maximum roll compression (more length metres on smaller diameters)
- Automated core supply, supported by large core storage and a compact core magazine for special slit patterns or shorter production runs at the front side of the winder
- Flexible packaging solutions according to your requirements
- Integrated roll weighing system (optional)
- Integrated conveying and bundling systems for efficient handling
